Thank You For Visiting My Website
I was raised by a father who loved real estate. I studied civil engineering in college and upon graduating went to work for my father developing a PUD on 1,200 acres of rich farmland on the outskirts of Minneapolis, MN. It was called “The Preserve”, and the concept was to gently lower a community of 1,500 people onto the land and preserve the natural surroundings and wildlife.
After receiving my CE Professional License, I went to work designing large land developments around San Francisco, CA. I also designed and built my 3,600 sq. ft. home on 30 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
I then moved to Phoenix where I started my own design practice doing commercial and residential developments. I mastered the art of designing projects in desert areas where flash flooding was a natural occurrence and the use of alternative septic systems was a requirement.
I then moved to Matthews, NC in the fall of 2000 with my wife and four Labradors, where I continued my engineering practice until 2019 when I received my real estate license. I am now a full time realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty in their Ballantyne office.
I know real estate from land acquisition, to design, to building homes. I especially enjoy working with first time buyers. My tag line is "Let Uncle Bill Find Your Next Home In The Carolinas"
